Very few people really know what going on inside the Catholic Church, how the great organisation really functions, what names like 'the Curia', 'the Holy Office', reallymean. Others say that the whole body is out of date; that it needs a complete new look to gear it for this twentieth century, that institutional patterns suited to the middle ages are hopelessly unsuited to the modern world.
