The papers in this book present historical, theological, and pastoral aspects of Christian initiation taken from scripture, early Church tradition, and the practices and teachings of the Church throughout its history. Also included are evaluations of the new Roma rites. The papers are intended to provide a nem vantage point from which to view questions about Christian initiation and open up new possibilities for insight into their resolution.
