The same pastoral concern is at work today in the countries which are already Christian and in those yet to be evangelized. There are is a general desire to free the Christian from all mere formalism and to lead him to a personal, living and active faith. But until now the efforts made in some Western countries for a liturgical renewal have been more instance, both in theory and practice, than in the missions. The papers read at this Conference have been gathered in this book. Their importance is self-evident for the catechetIcal apostolate throughout the entire world.
