The Splendour of the Rosary

Fra Angelico, an Italian living in an age of Faith, painted her as an Italian and set her in the scenery of his land. Chesterton, an Englishman, Found her in his own country and in the foreign lands he visited, in our own age half-hidden, in the past shinning with the glory brought to her by men's faith.
