This book attempts to answer the question of how faith can be lived in today's particular situation. The world, especially our Western world, is permeated with an atmosphere of pessimism. Faith is a leap of trust-trust in the love of God who comes to meet us. this leap is difficult because it requires overcoming the spontaneous mistrust to which we are educated nowadays in more or less every area. May this book give its readers courage to dare the leap of trust, so that their own lives may be marked by the paschal experience of following in the footsteps of Moses and of him whom he prefigured, Jesus.
