Whiteheadian Reflection on The Human Person
The aim of this dissertation is to construct an integral view of the human person based on whitehead's philosophy of organism. What we mean by 'integral' is that we may include in the main thesis the various aspects of the human person. The view of the human person. The view of the human person which will be developed in this dissertation is a construct which is meant to respond to the challenge of pursuing further the validity of Whitehead's philosophy of organism. On the one hand, Whitehead believes that his philosophy of organism is 'a coherent, logical, necessary system of general ideas in terms of which every element of our experience can be interpreted'. Furthermore, he states that 'any philosophy must provide some doctrine of personal identity.
