Theotokos: A Theological Encyclopedia of the Blessed Virgin Mary
The purpose of this note is to render thanks. My thanks to Canon Rene Laurentin who read a number of articles from the letter E in a first draft and made very helpful suggestions. I am also deeply grateful to those in charge of the libraries of the following institutions: the Franciscan House of Studies, Dun Mhuire, Killiney, Co, Dublin; Trinity College, London; the Medieval Institute, Toronto; the Jesuit Houses of Studies at Chantilly, France and Eegenhoven, Belgium. In particular I wish to thank Fr. Auguste Cerckel, S.J., librarian to the Bollandister, Brussels and all the Bollandister for the unfailing courtesy and generosity I have received at their hands over the years.
