How many we claim to know God without encroaching on his unknow ability? Does our knowledge of God have any bearing on the way in which we live in community and behave towards the world? And if there is any bearing, does the doctrine of the Trinity make any difference? In these essays Professor Gunton develops a case for a particular theology of the Trinity.
