In this book he explores them along the paths of poetry, architecture, music, dance and drama all of which lead to the heart of the Psalms. Discovered along these paths the Psalms spring to life in all their passion and joy, and it is the author's hope that we may be led to look afresh at religion and art today, having seen the vitality each gave the other in their early days of unity in the Psalms.
