The Early History of Israel (Vol.II): From the Entry into Canaan to the Period of the Judges
The present work, The Early History of Israel, presents all of his chapters which were written up to the time of his death, and comprises the story from the beginnings in prehistory to the time of the Judges. Though this is only about half of the major history which Fr de Vaux had planned, it will be recognized that it covers the period which he had made peculiarly his own, and on which he had perhaps the greatest contribution to make to the general pool of Biblical scholarship.
