This book is the crystallization of the specialized study and instruction of its author in the field of New Testament teaching. For more than thirty-five years Dr. Shepard was a Professor of New Testament Interpretation and Greek in theological seminaries. The object of the writer was to present a vivid picture of the personal Christ as depicted in the Gospels, making use of the methods of both grammatical and historical exegesis. This represents a distinct departure from the traditional method of studying the life of Christ.
