Names of over 10,000 saints, including many modern ones, appear in this new edition, revised according to the latest calendars and recommendations of the Church. Entries are arranged alphabetically and give significant information about lives and achievements. If there are many saints of the same name, they appear chronologically by the date of the saint's feast day. Details are given of any variations in name and of any associated emblem.
