The Body of Christ vs Multiple Personality Disorder: Toward an Ecumenical Theology [Buku: Berteologi Lintas Batas]
I define theology in this essay widely as any reflection on Christian faith. Ecumenical Theology is then any reflection on Christian faith with the commitment to aim with it towards church unity. First I, with Alan Falconer distinguish between theological work that is done in an interdenominational context, but does not focus on ecumenical issues (doing theology ecumenically) and theological reflections that aim towards a visible Unity of the divided churches, which sees ecumenically important issues explicitly as its topics (doing Ecumenical Theology/Ecumenics).
