In this book one of the Catholic Church's great theologians reflects on the three-fold structure of the Apostles' Creed especially as it reveals the mystery of the Trinity. Ranging over the whole tradition of the Fathers, the scholastics and modern theology as well as the liturgy, de Lubac brings out the dynamism of faith as a movement to God. The Church then becomes the community of bilevers, the place within which faith is received and lived. Finally, this faith in the Trinity must manifest itself to the world where it will be both an act of witness and a bond of unity.
