In recent years, Rural Asia has been exposed to various forces of change. Technological advancement, coupled with the desire and aspirations for change for the lives of the rural people. Communication has been playing an increasingly significant role not only in arousing expectations for the upliftment and betterment of the people's live but also in assisting them to harness their resources for their own development. If all those engaged in this process play their respective role effectively, then the pace of progress and prosperity could be increased many fold.
