Communication is fundamental to human society. Whether it happens deliberately and consciously or not it still happens in some shape or form. But he who calls himself a communicator cannot rely on communication which takes place in this happen as it may fashion. He must be willing to grope for broader understanding to laboriously build bridges that will transport him into the world of his audience. People the masses if you wish simply are not sponges indiscriminately soaking up anything and everything they come in contact with. We would do well to realize there is more to a communication situation than just the communicator and his message.
