Courage to Pray
Prayer is the expression of what is the deepest and therefore the most natural and spontaneous within us. Yet no slick answers, no easy remedies can be provided, for prayer demands courage. The two authors of this book approach their subject in different ways. Metropolitan Anthony, in whose writing it is hard not to sense the deep spirituality of its author, writes about prayer in a way that shows how profoundly acquainted he is with the true conflicts and aspirations at the root of man's spiritual being. Georges LeFebvre complements this he does not try and explain what prayer is but provides a text to pray with.
