Dewey Decimal Classification has a Roman Catholic background. Nevertheless it is used in many protestant theological libraries all over the world. One of them is the library of the theological faculty of the Christian University in Tomohon (Indonesia). In rearranging the library of this faculty we have discovered that the table 2000: Religion in Dewey Decimal Classification does not always fit a modern protestant theological library. For instance there is no number for Philosophy of religion or Sociology of religion.
