A Handbook in Theology and Ecology
The premise of this handbook is that all Christian communities have the potential to discover and express environmental concern. It aims to encourage anyone interested in theology and the environmental to explore the wealth of material that is within the Christian heritage. Examples of different responses to the ecological crisis are taken from Orthodox, Catholic, Protestant and feminist perspectives. The handbook is the outcome of a project funded by WWF and undertaken by the International Consultancy on Religion, Education and Culture. The material has been used with great success in partner theological colleges and university theology departments, though it is equally accessible to individuals and groups outside and academic setting. It is one of number of projects linking religions and conservation undertaken by WWF.
