A Short Life of Christ
Contemporary Scholars are reluctant to write full-length biographies of Christ. This reluctance is based on many facts, not the least of which is that the Gospels themselves are not true biographies. How, then, does one approach writing about the life of Christ? Professor Harrison does not attempt in this book to retell the events in Christ's life; rather, he analyzes the outstanding events and features of that life. In this way he combines history, biblical theology, and apologetics in his study of the theologically significant aspects of Christ's life and work.
