This book is a documentary history of that era from the standpoint of the Roman Catholic Church. Here, collected for the first time, are key statements by the Council itself, by the Secretariat for promoting Christian Unity, and by the Roman Pontiffs who have guided the Church in that period Paul VI, John Paul I, and John Paul II. The concerns of these documents cover a broad range of subjects from sacramental sharing to translating the Scriptures and to establishing principles of evangelization.
