An Introduction to Theories of Learning
The four main goals of this edition of An Introduction to Theories of Learning remain the same as those of the first two editions. Those goals are: (a) to define learning and to show how the learning process is studied (chapters 1 and 2); (b) to place learning theory in historical perspective (chapter 3); (c) to present the essential features of the major theories of learning (chapter 4 through 15); and (d) to examine some of the relationships that exist between learning theory and educational practices (chapter 16).
