Building Unity, the fourth volume in the Ecumenical Documents Series, is the most complete compendium of ecumenical documents produced in the Unites States, covering roughly twenty years of theological research and ecumenical engagement. The volume includes documents produced in the conciliar and bilateral dialogues in which the Roman Catholic Church has participated through the Bishop's Commitee on Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs of the National Conference of Catholic Bishops. The dialogues touch on relations between the Roman Catholic Church and Anglicans, Baptists, Disciples of Christ, Lutherans, Methodists, Eastern and Oriental Orthodox, Presbyterian and Reformed, Pentecostals and the spectrum of churches who are members of the Faith and Order Commission of the National Council of Churches of Christ in the United States.
