Epistemology
Reflection upon the nature of our knowledge gives rise to a number of perplexing philosophical problems. These constitute the subject matter of theory of knowledge, or epistemology. Most of them were discussed by the ancient Greeks and there is little agreement even now as to how they should be solved or otherwise disposed of.
