The author's style is as incisive and his wit as keen as ever, while the range of subjects that he deals with is, as always, provocatively wide. Of special interest in this volume is his application of behavioral therapy to the theory and practice of neurotic behavior and especially to the severe clinical problem of the alcoholic.
