The observations which the woman can make and interpret following competent instruction not only indicates the time of ovulation with remarkable accuracy, but also provides knowledge of the approach of ovulation. Furthermore the observations are directed to that biological phenomenon which determines whether coitus on a particular day before ovulation can or cannot result in conception.
